How To Catch A Cheating Spouse – 4 Reasons To Spy
Is it okay to spy on your spouse? You think you see signs of cheating spouse. The need to find out if your spouse is cheating and what kind of cheating is going on can often times be very strong. There are many reasons why you feel the need to spy on your significant other. These are 4 reasons:
1. The ability to trust is a big one, not the ability to trust your partner, but being able to trust yourself. Most likely you have sensed something is different or noticed the change in your partners behavior for some time. You may have even confronted your cheating husband or wife and you were met with denial. It is impossible to start surviving infidelity in your marriage when your still in the denial phase.
This has created a big dilemma for you because there is a part of you that is screaming, This doesn’t fit! I don’t believe you! To deny your inner voice, which knows the truth, is creating tremendous internal turmoil. When you confirm what your gut instinct suspects, you can step back and at least know that you can trust yourself. You have not lost it! Spying on your significant other is a way to confirm what you suspected and to fully trust you gut instinct.
2. When you spy on your spouse it can help you feel more connected to them when they seem to be drifting away. It helps you maintain some form of contact and still have a connection to the person who was once well known. Isn’t it like the game of hide-and-seek we used to play when younger? Sometimes there, sometimes gone. At least it’s a game and a game includes some form of contact, some involvement. You miss the connection to your spouse and are looking for anyway to maintain at least some contact.
3. Spying on an unfaithful lover may be an honest attempt to rectify the relationship. You have to get to the bottom of it. Your gut is telling you something is not quite right. You suspect there is a breach of something. You need to know what it is you are up against. You are unwilling to stand stagnant and wait. You are a decisive person who takes action. You want some form of movement. You have to move forward in your relationship. You feel the need to keep moving forward with you life. It is very hard to stay sane when there is a big secret that no one is talking about. You have to find out the truth, confront the truth head on, deal with the truth, and then be free from it. If necessary, you will have to be able to move on and consider life after divorce.
4. Being able to see signs of an unfaithful significant other most often means secrets. A secret takes a ton of work to keep! Keeping one day in and day out has a very powerful impact. It is the proverbial elephant that takes up the whole room that no one wants to talk about. People go the the extreme to try to ignore it, but it is still there. Emotionally speaking, you can’t miss it. Secrets can be very draining.
If the secret persists, its impact is noticed in subtle but insidious ways. It can make people seriously ill. It can make people sad. People start doing things that are a bit crazy. Children will begin to act out, stop achieving things, and show a whole host of other symptoms. The kids, or the generation after will most often be the ones who carry the emotional load. You feel the need to spy because you can’t live with a secret. You need to find out the truth. You need to feel the freeing power of the exposed secret and the opportunity it offers for healing, resolution, a rich relationship and a productive life.
